Hiking Oregon – Triple Falls, Oneonta Gorge
Back in the summer of 2012 I managed to fracture my foot. As my foot slowly healed, I started looking for an easy day hike in order to test out my progress. That’s when a friend recommended I go check out the Triple Falls in the Oneonta Gorge.

Hiking Washington – Deception Pass State Park
Just south of Anacortes, between Fidalgo and Whidbey Island, you’ll find Deception Pass State Park. I’ve never been up towards this part of Washington, so with the rare chance of a sunny day in the winter, I loaded up the car, left Seattle and started driving North.

Kayaking – Myakka River State Park, FL
Last fall I decided to pack up the kayak and spend a weekend camping in Myakka River State Park. I remember spending a few Easters up there with the family and figured I would see how things have changed in the past 20 years since I last visited.

Oregon – Bear Creek
This was one of our little stops as we traveled through Mid-Oregon. I only had a few minutes to climb around and take a couple shots. These are not the best of shots, so I figured I would mess about with some post production techniques and push a little of that hipster surrealism stuff.

Oregon – Devil’s Elbow Cove
Located in Oregon, North of Florence and south of Yachats, is Heceta Head State Park (which includes Devils Elbow State Park). Devil’s Elbow Cove is easily accessible from the 101 and offers tremendous views, lighthouses and trails.
