I launched my Kayak from beaches of Port Royal and headed south, once again, to the barrier island of Keewaydin.
This Cormorant had managed to stuff some kind of eel or elongated fish down its gullet.
A pair of Willets work the shoreline looking for food.
This Fighting Conch was getting caught in the outgoing tide.
The Willets kept a nervous eye on me and my large camera lens.
A Snowy Egret hunts for fish on the shoreline.
And it catches one!
Just kidding, it’s a pod of Porpoise. They didn’t seem to mind me following them around in my kayak.
A hovering Osprey looks for breakfast.
A gaggle of Double-Crested Cormorants sit atop the pilings.
There were a ton of Snowy Egrets working the shoreline.
No bait fish was safe.
